We collect only the information that is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide the services you have requested, and communicate with you about retirement planning topics relevant to your needs.

When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including:
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, click-through data

When you interact with our advertisements on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) or Google, those platforms may provide us with limited information about your interaction, such as whether you clicked an ad, completed a conversion action, or fall within a demographic audience segment. This information is subject to those platforms’ own privacy policies in addition to this one.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following business purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries and provide information about retirement planning and annuity products
- To communicate with you via email, telephone, or SMS/text message based on the consent you have provided
- To deliver and optimize advertising through Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads, including creating custom and lookalike audiences, retargeting visitors, and measuring ad performance
- To improve our Site by analyzing usage patterns, diagnosing technical issues, and enhancing user experience
- To manage our customer relationship through our CRM platform (HubSpot) for lead management, communication tracking, and service delivery
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
We do not use your personal information for purposes materially different from those described above without providing you additional notice and, where required, obtaining your consent.
4. Tracking Technologies & Advertising
Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram)
Our Site uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel collects data about your activity on our Site and sends it to Meta to help us measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to people who have already visited our Site or taken specific actions.
Data processed through the Meta Pixel may include your IP address, browser information, pages visited, actions taken on our Site, and Meta cookie identifiers. This data may be used by Meta in accordance with its own Data Policy.
Google Ads & Google Analytics
We may use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags to measure the effectiveness of our Google advertising campaigns and to display relevant ads to users who have previously visited our Site. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with our Site and our ads. For more information on how Google uses data, visit Google’s Privacy Policy.
HubSpot
We use HubSpot as our customer relationship management (CRM) platform. HubSpot may place cookies on your browser to track website activity, manage form submissions, and facilitate our communications with you. Information stored in HubSpot includes the personal information you provide through our forms and your Site interaction history. HubSpot’s privacy practices are governed by its own Privacy Policy.
Opting Out of Tracking
You can manage your preferences for tracking technologies through the following methods:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through your privacy settings.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor GPC signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out request where required by law.
- Meta opt-out: Adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook Ad Settings.
- Google opt-out: Manage your settings at Google Ad Settings or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
- NAI/DAA opt-out: Visit the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages.
Please note that opting out of tracking may affect the functionality of our Site and the relevance of the ads you see.
5. SMS/Text Messaging
Consent & Opt-In
We will only send you SMS/text messages if you have provided your prior express written consent by completing a form on our Site or otherwise opting in to our text messaging program. Your consent must be affirmative — we do not use pre-checked boxes or implied consent for marketing text messages. Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), this consent authorizes My Annuity Agents to send you automated marketing text messages at the mobile number you provide.
Message Details
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 10 messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.
- Content: Messages may include appointment reminders, retirement planning information, educational content, promotional offers, and follow-up communications related to your inquiry.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you send STOP, we will send you one final confirmation message to acknowledge your opt-out. No additional messages will be sent unless you re-consent.
You may also opt out by emailing us at angie@myannuityagents.com, calling us directly, or by any other reasonable method. We will honor your opt-out request within 10 business days.
Help
For assistance, reply HELP to any text message or contact us at angie@myannuityagents.com.
SMS Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your phone number and consent information are used solely by My Annuity Agents to send you the messages you have consented to receive.
7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Under certain state privacy laws, the use of tracking technologies such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags that transmit personal information to third-party advertising platforms may be classified as a “sale” or “share” of personal information — even when no monetary exchange occurs and even when the purpose is ad measurement and optimization.
While My Annuity Agents does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration, we want to provide you with transparency and control. If you wish to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, you may do so by:
- Emailing your request to angie@myannuityagents.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Information”
- Enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor GPC signals as valid opt-out requests
- Adjusting your cookie and tracking preferences through the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 4
We will process your request within the timeframe required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.
