Angie Hess Welsh founded My Annuity Agents with one goal in mind: to make sure people understand the annuity they are buying. Too often, she saw clients left in the dark about the fine print, signing contracts they didn’t fully understand, only to feel annuity buyer’s remorse later. Annuities are powerful tools when used correctly, and Angie set out to create a team built on transparency to help people understand if annuities are not only something they want, but something they actually need.
Armed with an MBA in Finance and more than 15 years of industry experience, Angie brings expertise and clarity to a complex subject. She is the author of “When The Fine Print Isn’t So Fine: Your Guide to Avoiding Annuity Buyer’s Remorse” which helps retirees cut through the jargon and make confident annuity buying decisions.
Tanya joined the team at My Annuity Agents when it was founded by Angie Welsh. She has worked under the tutelage of Angie and learned a great deal about the financial industry and annuities. She believes the process of purchasing an annuity should be painless, not frustrating.
As Managing Director, Tanya works to ensure that a strong and competent team is in place who share the same core values. Her specialty is Operations, which speaks to her great attention to detail and results driven approach. From managing Fortune 500 companies to small businesses, Tanya’s mission remains the same, client and employee satisfaction.
Purchasing an annuity is a big decision, and Tanya’s mission is for each client to have a positive and beneficial experience. There is a reason clients continue to return to My Annuity Agents for their annuity needs, and Tanya and the entire team of educated annuity professionals are a large part of that reason.
